The structure of the Study Mission is divided as follows:
- preparatory webinars*: 1h30-long from 16:30 to 18:00 from October 3rd to 21st
- 5 days of high-level meetings in Rome inside the central Italian institutions such as the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Residences of the President of the Italian Republic, the Palace of the Italian Government, and the city hall of Rome “Campidoglio”, where the Bid Committee for Expo 2030 Rome will illustrate you the reasons behind the candidature of the Eternal City. Moreover, you will meet representatives from the Italian public/private sector, diplomats, experts, professors, opinion-makers, and members of the main international institutions located in Rome, like FAO. Finally, you will have the great chance to visit historically important locations in Rome, both from a religious-cultural standpoint and from a social-political point of view, which makes Rome a unique city in the world.
*Webinars
In the months preceding the simulation, the students will take part in some preparatory webinars for an hour and a half each. Four webinars of 1h30 duration (from 16:30 to 18:00) will be held from October 3rd to 21st.
In this way, students will have the opportunity to have a complete understanding of the international role of Rome and Italy in general, and the importance of Agenda 2030.
Moreover, the knowledge of the functioning of the institutions located in Rome, techniques of public speaking, and negotiation processes will be deepened during the webinars.
Remote activities will be delivered through the Zoom platform.
