Eastwest Association Talks
The Talks are webinar series where students and professors have a chance to discuss and propose solutions to current political issues with the experts directly involved in the decision-making processes. Eastwest European Institute, as the network coordinator, organizes four webinars per year for the members. The speakers of the webinars are represented by diplomats, EU institutions officials, former Presidents, international politicians, journalists, and geopolitical experts. The Association members have the opportunity to organize other webinars according to their areas of expertise.
Eastwest Model EU
Eastwest Model EU is an annual simulation of the functioning of the main EU Institutions. Students can take on the role of the Member of the European Parliament (MEP) or Minister of the Council to debate current political issues and propose amendments to existing documents. Each member university can put itself forward as a candidate to host Model EU on its university campus. Hosting university provides its students with an opportunity to interact with international students without leaving their home university. The EWEI staff manages the Eastwest Model EU.
Eastwest Journalism Challenge
Each four months students will have a chance to participate in the Journalism Challenge. Eastwest will define the topic and will evaluate the submitted articles.
