ABOUT
The Study Mission Rome aims to provide university students with an understanding of the relevance of Rome as a diplomatic, cultural, and economic center through meetings with political actors, cultural representatives, and companies.
The participants will have the chance to visit the most important national and international institutions Rome based as well as, important private companies and international organizations.
PRE-DEPARTURE WEBINARS
In the months preceding the event, the students will take part in some intensive webinars of an hour and a half each. The webinars will be recorded. Thus, it is possible both to follow them in live streaming or watch the recorded videos.
In this way, students will have the opportunity to have a complete understanding of the international role of Rome and Italy as well as the functioning of the institutions located in Rome.
Online activities will be delivered through the Zoom platform.
VISITS & MEETINGS IN ROME
After acquiring the necessary knowledge, participants will fly to Rome to start their 4-day institutional tour.

The schedule is tentative and may undergo some changes. Some meetings can be replaced with other but not less interesting ones.
We will move from one visit to another on public transport. Besides some visits on the suburbs of Rome.

The participation fee without accommodation is €490 and it provides for:

Excluded from the fee: meals, transfer from and to the airport, airline or train tickets to reach Rome.
ACCOMMODATION
La Flavia Design City Suites Rome
Address: Via Flavia, 93, Rome, 00184, Italy . Each apartment has 2/3 bedrooms and a room with a double sofa bed. Each room is shared by 2 students. The double bed and double sofa bed should be shared with a student of the same gender. Breakfast or other meals are not included. However, each apartment has an equipped kitchen.

1. English level certificate, or please book an interview to assess your English level (mandatory for all participants).
2. Motivation letter (max 1 page). Your motivation to take part in the program.
3. Internship, work, or volunteer experience certificates with the length of the experience (if any).

English level B2 to participate in the discussion. A certificate from the home university is accepted.
The Study Mission Rome is open to university-level students as well as young professionals in any field of study.
Admitted age range: 18 – 30 years old

For non-EU-citizens, we will provide a visa supporting letter, once the student is registered and paid at least 70% of the fee
