The goal of the Study Mission is to allow participants to open their minds and leave behind the pre-existing narrative. In particular, this project will help students understand the importance of diplomatic relations between countries and how they are directly linked to their economic ties.
By the end of this experience, participants will have analyzed controversial issues such as economic crisis, sanctions, terrorism, and financial crisis, and will have gained a deeper understanding of the motivations and consequences of the embargo imposed on Qatar, as well as the developments resulting from its lifting.
In the month before the departure, the students will take part in some online intensive webinars of an hour and a half each. The webinars will be recorded. Thus, it is possible both to follow them in live streaming or watch the recorded videos.
After acquiring the necessary knowledge, participants will fly to Qatar and start their 5-day institutional tour.
The participation fee is €1300 and it provides for:
English level B2 to participate in the discussion. A certificate from the home university is accepted.
The Study Mission Qatar is open to university-level students and young professionals in any field of study.
